ATF PROMOTES SUSTAINABLE TOURISM IN ASEAN

VIENTIANE – The ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2024 was held from January 22 to 27 in Vientiane, the capital of Laos. The forum serves as a catalyst for sustainable growth and promotes collaboration and innovation. Here are some of the key content and objectives of the meeting:

Quality and Responsible Tourism: The theme of the forum was “Quality and Responsible Tourism – Sustaining ASEAN Future”. This underlines the commitment of ASEAN countries to sustainable tourism that respects both the environment and the cultural values ​​of the region.

Improving tourism products: The aim of the forum was to strengthen cooperation to improve tourism products of ASEAN countries and attract more international tourists.

TRAVEX Sessions: The TRAVEX Sessions are one of the ATF’s main attractions, providing a unique and specialized platform for buyers from around the world to meet with ASEAN tourism products and service providers, establish new business connections and strengthen existing relationships with existing and new partners.

ASEAN Tourism Conference (ATC): The ASEAN Tourism Conference (ATC) was held alongside TRAVEX and offered all delegates the opportunity to learn from industry experts about the latest trends.
