Premier Lee Hsien Loong to attend 37th Asean Summit

Singapore – Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will lead the Singapore delegation for the 37th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits taking place from 12 to 15 November 2020 via video conference.

In line with Vietnam’s ASEAN Chairmanship theme of “Cohesive and Responsive ASEAN”, the ASEAN Leaders will discuss the public health and socio-economic challenges posed by COVID-19, and chart a post-COVID-19 path to recovery. The Leaders will also exchange views on regional and international issues, and continue discussions on how to strengthen regional cooperation, reinforce ASEAN Centrality, and promote regional peace and stability.

In addition, the ASEAN Leaders will meet with their counterparts during the 23rd ASEAN Plus Three Summit, the 15th East Asia Summit, the 4thRegional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Summit, and Summits with Australia, China, India, Japan, New Zealand, the Republic of Korea, the United Nations, and the United States.
