Philipp Rösler joins Numbrs’ Advisory Board

Zurich – Dr. Philipp Rösler has been appointed to the Numbrs Advisory Board. The Numbrs Personal Finance AG (formerly known as Centralway Numbrs) is a financial technology company based in Switzerland. The company offers an app called Numbrs that aggregates bank account and credit card information and facilitates mobile banking and personal financial planning.

Philipp Rösler served as Vice-Chancellor and Federal Minister of Economy and Technology for Germany from 2011 to 2013. He was the first German Minister of Economics to visit Silicon Valley.

Before this, he served as Federal Minister of Health for Germany for two years. In 2009, he was appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economics, Labor and Transport for Lower Saxony, after having served as Chairman of the FDP parliamentary group of the Lower Saxony State Assembly for six years.

After retiring from politics, Dr. Rösler became a Member of the Supervisory Boards of several publicly listed companies including the energy company Fortum Corporation.

He has been CEO of Hainan Cihang Charity Foundation Inc. from the end of 2017 to early 2019. From 2014 until 2017 he was a member of the Managing Board and Head of the Centre for Regional Strategies of the World Economic Forum in Switzerland.
