Beijing/Luala Lumpur – Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia, Huang Huikang, says investigations have ruled out the possibility of hijacking or a terrorist attack on the missing Malaysia Airlines flight by Chinese passengers.
The finding came after a background check into all Chinese nationals on board the plane. Huang announced this at a press briefing in Kuala Lumpur Tuesday morning.
He also said China has started search in its territory along the northern corridor, one of the two that authorities say the jet might have flown along after its last satellite contact.
