Amsterdam/Kuala Lumpur – On board of Malaysia Airlines MH-17 there were 280 passengers and 15 Malaysian crew, numbers  an official from Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam confirmed at a press conference.

The latest numbers of the nationalities on board the plane were given by Huib Gorter from Malaysian Airlines: 154 Dutch passengers, 27 Australians, 23 Malaysians, 11 from Indonesia, 6 from the UK, 4 Germans, 4 Belgians, 3  from the Philippines and one Canadian. More nationalities have yet to be counted.
