5.3-magnitude quake hits Philippines

Manila – An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale jolted 47km ENE of Cortes, Philippines at 19:53: 48 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 4.04 km, was initially determined to be at 9.3725 degrees north latitude and 126.6145 degrees east longitude. Source: Xinhua
