Taipeh – Taiwan endeavours to boost its MICE industry, and is highly expecting for more infrastructure investment to strengthen the incentive and meeting environment and facilities.

This month, a brand-new exhibition centre in southern Taiwan, the Kaohsiung Exhibition and Convention Center,  celebrates its grand opening. It is the first international exhibition and convention centre in South Taiwan which provides diverse venue options thriving for a Taiwan MICE environment.

On the other hand, with the honor of winning the Innovative Destination Prize in IFITT 2014, Taiwan is offering more and more convenient ways for traveling.

International visitors can easily get online by “iTaiwan” free WiFi with about 1,500 hotspots throughout the island. The Taiwan Tourism Bureau even launched a Tour Taiwan App and a Taiwan Tourism Events App which provide quick, useful and interesting information on various attractive and popular places to visit in Taiwan.
