ITB Berlin: „The Power of Transition lives here“

BERLIN ITB Berlin 2025 will be held from March 4th to 6th, 2025, and is dedicated to transforming the tourism industry. Under the motto “The Power of Transition lives here,” the ITB Berlin Congress will focus on the transformative challenges and opportunities of the global travel and tourism industry.

New to the program are the ITB Transition Labs and the Corporate Culture Clash Track. For the first time, all four congress stages will be live-streamed, giving the global travel community access to sessions with over 400 international speakers, regardless of their location. Participation in the ITB Berlin Congress is included in the trade fair ticket. Tickets are available in the ITB Berlin ticket shop.

The ITB Berlin Congress will once again be the global hotspot for knowledge transfer and networking in 2025. In total, the leading think tank of the travel industry offers 17 topic tracks, spread across four stages, that shed light on current issues related to sustainability, technology, corporate culture, and much more. The content is curated by a “Board of Experts,” a panel of leading industry experts who ensure that the tracks offer practical, highly relevant, and innovative insights, as well as top-class speakers. With the live stream of all four stages, ITB Berlin offers additional value for the global community. The sessions are not only available live but can also be accessed later on the ITB Berlin YouTube channel.

“The ITB Berlin Congress 2025 has a clear focus on the ongoing transformation of the tourism industry. The new motto highlights the dynamic process currently shaping the industry and underscores the need for constant adaptation to changing conditions. NEW: ITB Transition Labs: With 20 exclusive insights in 90 minutes, this new event format offers marketing professionals in the destinations and hospitality sector in-depth insights into data-based recommendations for action. The labs are specifically designed to provide decision-makers with practical tools to master future challenges confidently. Sessions can be booked in the ITB Berlin ticket shop.

NEW: Corporate Culture Clash Track: The new Corporate Culture Clash Track on the Green Stage deals with the challenges and opportunities of a changing corporate culture. The focus is on topics such as diversity, new work, new technologies, and the expectations of Generation Z.

ITB Travel and Tourism Radar: First-hand insights: Another highlight in 2025 is the ITB Travel and Tourism Radar. A current industry report, which presents the results of a global industry survey conducted three times a year at the ITB Berlin Congress, provides insights into current developments on topics such as business climate, sustainability, digitalization, and artificial intelligence. The third survey is planned for January 2025.

  • Orange Stage (Hall 7.1): Renowned personalities such as Maja Göpel (Founder of Mission Wertvoll), Mascha Driessen (Regional Vice President, Microsoft), Caroline Bremner (Senior Industry Manager, Travel and Tourism Euromonitor International), Greg Schulze (Chief Commercial Officer of the Expedia Group), Dona Regis-Prosper (Secretary General of the Caribbean Tourism Organization), and Stefan Rahmstorf (Co-Head of Research at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research) are among the lineup.
  • eTravel Stage (Hall 6.1): The ITB Berlin Congress once again welcomes numerous leading experts, including Leah Ranking (Chief Product Officer, SiteMinder), Amy Read (Vice President Innovation, Sabre Hospitality), Mary Li (CEO of Atlas Travel), Marc Jennings (CIO AI & Analytics at TUI), Mehdi Soua (CIO of the Louvre Hotels Group), Stephen Burke (Founder and CEO, RobosizeME), Charlie Osmond (Co-Founder of Triptease), Eirik Skjaerseth (CEO of Bolder), and Sarah Dines (Chief Commercial Officer, Viator).

ITB Berlin, ITB Berlin Congress, and 360° : ITB Berlin 2025 will take place from Tuesday to Thursday, March 4th to 6th, as a pure trade visitor fair. ITB Berlin has been the leading trade fair for the global travel industry since 1966. As in previous years, the internationally renowned ITB Berlin Congress will take place parallel to the trade fair and live at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds.
