BERLIN – IFA Berlin, the world’s most important platform for home and consumer tech, is kicking off with a strong message to the consumer market: According to the organizers, the trade show is already almost fully booked, “all major retail buying groups are on board, and IFA’s innovation course will be consistently pursued in its 101st year.”
This firmly cements IFA’s status as an international business platform for home and consumer technology, positioning itself clearly as “the place to be” for industry, retail, and everyone looking to be part of the technological transformation.
Driving Innovation While Reflecting the Market
With AI, software & computing power, and sustainability at its core, IFA 2025 will highlight three key themes that are transforming the market. At the same time, it is strengthening its core segments of home entertainment and home appliances, while strategically developing forward-looking sectors such as smart home, communication & connectivity, audio, gaming, content creation, fitness & digital health, and mobility.
“IFA is the only place where you can experience the full spectrum of the electronics and tech market – compact, international, and hands-on. Here, industry and retail can connect strategically, network, and engage directly with end consumers. That’s exactly what makes IFA unique,” says Leif Lindner, CEO of IFA Management GmbH.
Strong Industry Partners, Full Commitment
All major retail buying groups – including EK Retail, ElectronicPartner, Euronics, expert, and telering – will once again back IFA in 2025. Their presence underscores the event’s significance as the industry’s central meeting point, and as a platform where industry and retail can meet on equal footing to shape the future together.
New Formats for Greater Innovation
With new experience areas and strategically expanded segments, IFA is reinforcing its mission this year to both reflect and actively shape trends. Highlights include:
IFA Creator Hub
The “IFA Creator Hub” will be the central meeting point for influencers, content creators, and their communities – featuring a Creator Stage, VIP area, livestreaming stations, and podcast & streaming studios. Located in the Palais am Funkturm, the Hub will set new standards for authentic, high-reach content and give visitors an inside look at modern content production.
Beauty Hub
Debuting in 2025 as a highlight within the Fitness & Digital Health Area in Hall 17, the “Beauty Hub” will showcase smart beauty innovations in skincare, haircare, and self-care. Interactive experiences, immersive brand environments, and hands-on stations will make it especially appealing to Gen Z and beauty tech fans.
IFA Outdoor Cooking & Gardening
In the Sommergarten, the new “IFA Outdoor Cooking & Gardening” experience area will cater to outdoor enthusiasts with innovative solutions for cooking, grilling, and gardening. Live demos and interactive product experiences will turn the outdoor area into a stage for sustainable lifestyles and fresh business opportunities in the growing outdoor segment.
The Track
With its special feature “The Track,” IFA will bring mobility to the show – allowing visitors to test e-bikes and e-scooters right between Halls 6 and 7. The activation taps into the rising interest in smart micromobility and offers an authentic product experience in a real-world setting.
