Delhi Airport: Pilots Forget Brakes, Plane Rolls Backwards

DELHI – A potentially serious incident involving a Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 was narrowly averted at Delhi Airport on Monday evening, November 25. After landing safely at around 8 p.m., the aircraft, registered as 9V-SKR, began rolling backward unexpectedly while parked at the gate. The mishap occurred after the pilots forgot to apply the parking brakes. Quick action from a crew member prevented the situation from escalating, ensuring passenger safety.
