ANA Launches Generative AI Platform “neoAI Chat”

TOKYO –  All Nippon Airways (ANA), Japan’s largest airline and a five-star carrier recognized by Skytrax, has announced the rollout of its generative AI platform “neoAI Chat” across all operational divisions. Developed in collaboration with neoAI Corporation, the platform will now support key departments including airport operations, maintenance, cabin services, and flight operations.

Following a successful pilot program at Tokyo Narita Airport in August 2024, where it demonstrated significant gains in efficiency and accuracy, ANA is expanding the system company-wide as part of its ongoing digital transformation strategy.

Transforming Operations Through AI

With the introduction of neoAI Chat, ANA has achieved a 90% reduction in time spent on manual research and regulation searches, allowing staff to access critical operational data far more quickly. The system also enables report generation and training material preparation to be completed 75% faster, freeing employees to focus on creative and high-value tasks.

Hosted securely within ANA’s private cloud environment, neoAI Chat ensures the protection of confidential data. The platform improves both customer service responsiveness—through precise, rapid answers to inquiries—and organizational knowledge transfer, systematically capturing individual expertise to be shared with future generations of employees.
