ASEAN Patio Pool and ASEAN Landscape Expo postponed

BANGKOK/KUALA LUMPUR – The two prominent trade shows, the ASEAN Patio Pool & Spa Expo and the ASEAN Landscape & Gardening Expo, originally scheduled for September 2–4, 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand, have now been officially rescheduled to September 10–12, 2026. Instead of being held at the IMPACT Exhibition Center in Nonthaburi, the events will now take place at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur.

Why the rescheduling?

According to the organizers, the decision is based on a combination of factors:

  • Logistical challenges in Bangkok for 2025, including infrastructure bottlenecks and coordination issues.
  • Strategic repositioning: MITEC offers state-of-the-art exhibition halls with greater capacity, improved accessibility, and superior technical infrastructure.
  • Closer coordination with partners and exhibitors, many of whom requested more lead time to ensure higher planning security and quality.

Impact on exhibitors and visitors

The new date gives exhibitors more time for preparation. Organizers also anticipate a higher level of international participation, thanks to Kuala Lumpur’s modern infrastructure and better connectivity. The sustainable garden design and pool technology sectors in particular are expected to benefit from the contemporary environment of MITEC.

2026: Better Trade Fair Infrastructure

The move was a deliberate strategic decision aimed at minimizing planning risks and leveraging new resources. Industry experts expect that the 2026 editions in Kuala Lumpur will be better positioned due to MITEC’s modern facilities and central location.

Interested participants can already visit the official websites for updates, exhibitor directories, and hall layouts—whether they are pool and spa professionals or landscape and garden industry specialists.

With this postponement, the organizers are sending a clear message: Quality, planning security, and international reach are top priorities—and a significantly higher turnout of both exhibitors and visitors is expected in 2026. (zai)
