ANA and Singapore Airlines Deepen Partnership

TOKYO – ANA (All Nippon Airways) and Singapore Airlines to Deepen Collaboration with Joint Venture Launch in September 2025. Starting in September 2025, All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Singapore Airlines (SIA) will take their close cooperation to the next level by launching a joint venture. From that point on, the two carriers will share revenues on all flights between Singapore and Japan. Unified fares for these flights will be available for booking starting in May 2025.

Through this joint venture, ANA and SIA aim to offer customers additional benefits beyond their existing codeshare partnerships – including a wider range of fare options, better-coordinated flight schedules between Singapore and Japan, and seamless connectivity between the two Star Alliance carriers.

The two airlines are also working to provide reciprocal benefits for members of their frequent flyer programs – ANA Mileage Club and KrisFlyer. For example, customers will be able to earn miles on a greater number of booking classes across both airlines. In addition, ANA and SIA will align their corporate travel programs to enhance offerings for business travelers.

Subject to regulatory approvals, ANA and SIA also plan to expand the joint venture beyond Japan and Singapore to include other key markets such as Australia, India, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

Since signing their first commercial joint venture agreement in January 2020, ANA and SIA have significantly expanded their codeshare partnership, offering customers more travel options between Japan and Singapore and beyond. ANA customers now have access to 25 destinations across the SIA network, up from 12. Meanwhile, SIA customers can seamlessly travel to 34 destinations within ANA’s network, including 30 domestic destinations in Japan, compared to just nine previously.

Shinichi Inoue, CEO of ANA, stated: “This joint venture with Singapore Airlines is more than a strategic alliance. It represents ANA’s vision of ushering in a new era of customer experience that redefines expectations. Like ANA, Singapore Airlines is committed to exceeding customer expectations and maintaining the highest standards. This joint venture will be a testament to that commitment. With the strong synergy of two leading Asian airlines, we are confident we will set new benchmarks in service and customer experience that will change how passengers experience air travel.”

Goh Choon Phong, CEO of Singapore Airlines, added:
“This strategic partnership between Singapore Airlines and All Nippon Airways brings together two of Asia’s most prominent carriers. With our extensive network coverage and industry-leading products and services, we can leverage our combined strengths to significantly enhance our offerings for customers.”

Goh continued: “The joint fare products, revenue-sharing flights, and expanded codeshare agreements are just the beginning. By aligning our frequent flyer and corporate travel programs and incorporating additional markets into our commercial joint venture, we will be able to deliver greater value, improved connectivity, and an exceptional travel experience for our customers journeying between Singapore, Japan, and beyond.”
