With its solid investment-grade credit rating status, liability management was a key component of Lenovo’s financing strategy in 2022. Lenovo has successfully completed an initial US$625 million green bond offering as part of a US$1.25 billion dual-tranche Rule 144A/Regulation S bond offering. This was the world’s largest ESG bond debut for the technology sector in 2022[1], which marks an important milestone in Lenovo’s ESG journey. Lenovo’s green bond has been included in the Bloomberg MSCI Green Bond Index for the first time in October 2022.
Lenovo has received strong investment-grade ratings from global leading credit rating agencies, including “Baa2” by Moody’s Investors Service, Inc., “BBB-“ by Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services and “BBB” by Fitch Ratings Ltd.
Last week, Lenovo announced its FY2022/23 Q3 results, having delivered solid results as diversified growth engines and operational excellence drove profitability.
