S. Korea to prepare for reunification with DPRK

Seoul – South Korea’s President has announced that she will set up a presidential advisory body to prepare for reunification with the DPRK.

President Park Geun-hye made the remarks at a press conference marking the first anniversary of her inauguration at the presidential office of Cheong Wa Dae.

Park underscored the need to prepare for future reunification with the DPRK to open a new era of peace on the Korean Peninsula, citing the reunited Germany.

The president vowed to expand exchanges between the two countries. She said discussions on the new reunification era will be encouraged among people of all ranks and classes. Source: CCTV
