Mongolian president starts on European tour

Ulan Bator – Mongolian President Tsakhia Elbegdorj left on Monday for a five-day tour to three European countries.

From Tuesday to Saturday, Elbegdorj will visit Austria and Hungary and attend an Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) summit in Italy.

During his stay in Austria on Tuesday and Wednesday, Elbegdorj will meet Austrian President Heinz Fischer and National Council President Doris Bures respectively. He will also visit the UN Office in Vienna and address a Mongolian-Austrian Business Forum.

On Thursday and Friday, Elbegdorj will attend the summit in Milan.

In Hungary, the president will meet his Hungarian counterpart, Janos Ader, Prime Minister Viktor Orban and other officials. He will address the Mongolian-Hungarian Business Forum and make a speech at the Central European University of Hungary. Source: Xinhua
